Profile

Biography

Justin has a very broad range of experience, having worked variously as a statistical epidemiologist, statistician and self-employed consultant, which have spanned the academic sector, NHS and NGOs. Key fields of interest include global health, and Stata programming for simulation and for automation and standardisation of common analytical tasks.

  • CALM – An RCT of a guided self-help cognitive behavioural therapy to reduce dental anxiety in children attending primary dental care 
  • DIAMONDS - An RCT of the DIAMONDS Programme investigating the clinical and cost-effectiveness of the DIAMONDS intervention (diabetes self-management programme) for people with severe mental illnesses (SMI) and type 2 diabetes. 
  • DIDACT - Multi-centre randomised controlled trial to assess the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of surgery compared with sling immobilisation in the management of adults with radiological diagnosis of a displaced fracture of the distal clavicle that does not involve the acromioclavicular joint.
  • EXTRA-CECI - A Cluster Randomised Controlled Trial Of A Community-based Person-centred Intervention For People Living With HIV/AIDS On Treatment (Ghana)
